Premier League Top Scorer: 2026-27 Ante-Post Tips

It will be Erling Haaland barring a major shake-up. However, at 4/6, I'd rather try to get a bit of value out of the markets, as there is little to no point in waiting a year for those returns in my eyes.

With the second favourite in the market being 10/1, I think we have a great chance for a bit of value this season and I've got two picks.

Starting in London, I really like the look of Joao Pedro to be top scorer at 20/1 E/W. If he gets into the first four in the market, we'd see a place return of 5/1.

The Chelsea striker should play most of the minutes in the Premier League this season and hit 15 goals in 35 games last season, which is really quite respectable.

With the Blues strengthening heavily this summer, I think he'll have a great chance of goals this season.

For my other pick, I like Ollie Watkins at 22/1 E/W, which would return around 11/2 if he were to place. He's got 16 goals in his last two seasons and 19 in the one before that, so he offers somewhat of a guarantee for a high number of goals.

With Aston Villa not signing a striker, he will be the starter again this season and with the departure of Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers, he should be a guarantee for penalties this season too.

As a result, I think our chances look good here.

Outside of those two, I'd maybe be tempted by Bryan Mbuemo E/W at 66/1 and Kai Havertz E/W at 80/1. However, I wouldn't be backing either heavily, if at all.
