BetVictor is operated by BV Gaming Limited and is one of the longest established bookies frequented by UK and Irish punters.
The platform is armed with a neatly laid out, intuitive interface. It is devoid of clutter, although the colour scheme needs a spruce-up, I reckon.
In our test, the withdrawal process was instant. Our €20 withdrawal request was processed right away and funds were back in the account in 1 minute flat.
We were left impressed with the betting margins too, which averaged around 7% for Premier League games. Between the margins and the daily promos like odds boosts, we think BetVictor offers good value.
There are plenty of sports to bet on with a wide array of markets including in-play odds. Bet Builder and Best Odds Guaranteed are also mainstays of the betting site.
The BetVictor welcome bonuses are strong, albeit a little confusing as they differ on desktop versus mobile browser and mobile app. There are different offers for horse racing and football.
When testing the site, we were also impressed with customer support. It's available around the clock, though you'll have to get through the bots in live chat first. The email address was easy to find and there is a solid FAQ page.

BetVictor has been around since 1946, when founded by on-track bookmaker William Chandler. The company was passed down through the generations and was branded Victor Chandler Bookmakers when William's grandson took over.
Now "BetVictor", under the control of businessman and racehorse owner Michael Tabor since 2014, it operates solely online, based out of the company headquarters called the World Trade Centre in Gibraltar.
BetVictor moved to Gibraltar from the UK in 1998. It was the first of many UK betting operators to move to "the Rock".
Liverpool and Chelsea have been the official betting partners of BetVictor in recent years, while Harry Redknapp still continues in his brand ambassador role.

💰 Has BetVictor Been Fined?
Yes, BetVictor (under trade name BV Gaming Ltd.) was fined £2 million by the UK Gambling Commission in 2022. The fine was issued for social responsibility, fairness, and money laundering failures.
BetVictor Deposits
As confirmed during our tests, only Visa and Mastercard are available as options in the BetVictor cashier. This is a very low number of deposit options relative to other bookmakers, especially since the bookie hasn't even gone through the trouble of adding Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The minimum deposit amount is set at €5, while the maximum is €35k, so perhaps the BetVictor redeems itself a little here. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is in place for depositing and there were a few technical issues in the progressive web app when we tried to deposit €20 by Visa debit.
After confirming with the bank, some deposits bounced. Finally, I got a deposit confirmation but the screen disappeared after a few seconds. All's well that ends well, but the bookie can improve this part of the process for sure.
Revolut and e-wallets would also come in handy as alternative payment options.

How to Deposit at BetVictor
Extra security checks are in place with BetVictor transactions and we uncovered a few glitches along the way. That said, depositing is still a relatively simple process:

Click on "Deposit"
Once logged into your BetVictor account, head to the site header bar and click on the green "Deposit" button. It is located in the top-right corner.

Select Payment Method and Enter Amount
Here you'll see a page with a number of different options via links in a menu bar. To bypass all this, just hit the quick deposit option, which is the circular button near the top left of the screen.

Confirm the Deposit
With only one deposit option available during out testing, we were redirected to a page with a preloaded debit card form.
Fill in your payment details (if you haven't already done so), enter your desired deposit amount in the box provided, and hit the green 'Deposit' button.

Pass Security Checks
Now you may have to pass extra security checks with your bank. Confirm your deposit with your financial institution and then go back and confirm again on the BetVictor site (we had a few technical issues with the mobile app).
A page confirming your deposit should now show, although we were redirected off that page pretty sharpish.
BetVictor Withdrawals
We could withdraw both by the Visa debit card we used to make our initial €20 deposit and also by bank account. Bank transfer takes considerably longer than the whole one minute we had to wait for our funds via debit card!
The withdrawal process at BetVictor, as such, was one of the fastest we have tested despite the lack of payment options. Instant withdrawals propel betting operators towards the top of our rankings, so the bookie can be happy here.
On top of the fast timings, the minimum remains at a low €5 and the maximum remains at €35k, though if you opt for bank transfer, you can withdraw as much as €50k.

How to Withdraw Funds From BetVictor

Making sure you are first logged into your account, open up your banking or cashier section by pressing the head & shoulders icon in the top right corner.

🎾 The rest
At BetVictor, the market selection is diverse and we counted nearly 30 sports to bet on. Greyhounds, tennis, golf, hurling and Gaelic Football are amongst the sports available to Irish bettors.
The in-play product really stood out to us, with several sports to bet on live at any time including cricket, snooker and Ice Hockey.
Politics, Virtual Sports, eSports and Entertainment markets also populate the betting menu. In short, BetVictor is up there with the best betting sites in Ireland.
BetVictor Casino Review
The BetVictor Casino is relatively small but does have over 800 games to choose from. Daily promos are a solid feature of the casino too.
There are leagues and free-to-play games with real cash prizes. Choose from a diverse selection of games in the library - from Megaways slots to table games like blackjack and roulette, or try your hand in the Live Casino.
You can hit the daily slot jackpots or play classics like Book of Dead, Gonzo's Quest and Starburst.
The search and filter function isn't great, only allowing you to filter by games, so this could be a bit frustrating if you are looking for a specific provider.

This includes information on tools you can use to control your expenditure by setting limits, and also your access to the platform by setting time-outs etc. These tools and functions can be accessed via your account section on BetVictor.
During our testing, we also noticed a link on the banking page of the cashier to set daily exposure limits.
