Bet365 is one of the biggest operators in the world of sports betting and we found everything from the registration, deposit, and withdrawal process to the selection of markets at our disposal to be excellent.
For us, Bet365 lost a point in its overall score largely due to the casino and sign-up offers, even if the sportsbook welcome bonus of a €30 free bet when you bet €10 is satisfactory.
The wide range of promos - from daily odds boosts, specials, free bets, and features like the Bet Builder and each way extra - more than make up for this. You won't find a bookmaker offering more value back to the punter in terms of promotions and specials.
In our test, the withdrawal process was one of the best we've come across in terms of time, with automated processing resulting in our funds being received in just two minutes.
Regarding the betting margins at Bet365, we calculated anywhere from 5.7% to 6.2% on Premier League games, so an average margin of 6% puts Bet365 up there with the best of them.
With over 40 sports and hundreds of betting markets, Bet365 ticked all the boxes here too.
A couple of negatives were the payment options for Irish players. It would be nice to see a few more added, despite PayPal and Visa debit being in the cashier. The only option we had to withdraw in our test was the Visa card used to deposit.
The Bet365 site is a little bit cluttered and there's a lot going on, but apart from that, there are not too many complaints from us.

💰 Has Bet365 Been Fined?
Bet365 has indeed been fined in the past, albeit not by GRAI, but rather by the UKGC. It was slapped with a £580k fine back in 2024 for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. It remains to be seen what will happen under licensing from the GRAI.
Bet365 Deposits
Bet365 deposit methods include Visa debit, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Bank Transfer, and Paysafecard.
The minimum deposit from most of these payment options is just €5, but with PayPal the minimum deposit is €30. Furthermore, if you're using a bank wire transfer to top up your account, the minimum deposit is €100 which is relatively high.
Considering that PayPal is a relatively popular method, it stings a little to see such a high minimum deposit, but we do understand that it comes with a lot of fees for the bookies.
With Visa debit, which was the method we used in our test, we deposited €5 instantly. The fact that the minimum deposit is so low is a plus point for players wanting to sign up and test the waters.

How to Deposit at Bet365
Let's get into the nitty gritty of depositing with Bet365:

Once logged into your Bet365 account, click on your balance in the top right corner of the screen.

Bet365 Withdrawals
With an active Bet365 account, there are usually no issues withdrawing funds. Since we deposited for testing purposes, we placed a €5 bet on a 1/20 shot before withdrawing to avoid any potentially anti-money laundering red flags, which can happen sometimes.
Under normal circumstances, this isn't something you need to think about. What you do need to think about, though, are the restrictions on the withdrawal methods. We could only withdraw back to the Visa debit card that we used to deposit, which is standard procedure for most bookies.

In our test, withdrawing funds from Bet365 was a seamless process. Below is a step-by-step guide:
