LiveScore Bet Ireland Review (2026): Our Tests & Real Player Ratings

GRAI (0724-RB-26-0001) See Licence

LiveScore Bet is part of the original LiveScore Group global sports media business founded in 1998, most famously known for the LiveScore app. The expansion into betting took place in 2021 with the launch of the bookie.

In this review, we put the site to the test by signing up, verifying our account, depositing real money, placing bets and withdrawing funds.

Our unique BL Score also combines real user tests from Trustpilot, app stores and the editorial team to give a full, honest look at LiveScore Bet.

We found LiveScore Bet a little hit and miss in our in-depth review. There were good aspects of the site and features that didn't quite make the grade.

What stood out the most for us were the specials and promotions offered. There's loads of value for the punter at LiveScore Bet with extra place offers and specials like VAR Payout, Sub Payout and price boosts.

However, some offers come with increased vig. The normal margin for Premier League games is not great as it is, but LiveScore quietly 'advertise' an early payout offer if your team goes two goals up. The margin on this full-time market is as high as 12-13%.

We were more impressed with the horse racing product, where there were loads of markets and offers like extra places and Best Odds Guaranteed. The market selection complements a menu loaded with over 40 sports.

In terms of banking options, it was a very average experience with only three methods available. The withdrawal process was one of the slowest we've tested, albeit the request for €49 was put in on a weekend (Sunday). It took 35 hours from request to receipt. The minimum deposit is only €5, which is a plus point.

Support was poor overall and we had some problems getting verified with LiveScore Bet. They were a little stricter on the verification process than competitors. LiveScore were also more thorough on responsible gambling than most rivals, and that's likely a good thing.

About LiveScore Bet

Livescore Bet was launched online in 2021 and is operated by Livescore Betting and Gaming Limited. The original LiveScore Group was acquired by the Gamesys Group in 2017 but became independent in 2019. Sister site Virgin Bet was formed in 2019 as part of the expansion.

LiveScore Bet's sportsbook platform and odds are powered by Kambi since a platform migration in 2024.

Former English Premier League star Dimitar Berbatov is the official European brand ambassador for LiveScore Bet, while LiveScore Group partnered with Premier League team Sunderland for the 2025/26 season.

The betting operator has been live in the UK and Ireland since 2021.

Is LiveScore Bet Safe and Legit?

🔒 LiveScore Bet's GRAI Licence

LiveScore Bet holds a licence under the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (licence number GRAI-0724-RB-26-0001). It is also licensed by the Government of Gibraltar (RGL 122 and RGL 123) and the UKGC (56859), certainly checking all of the boxes.

📊 LiveScore's Trustpilot Rating: 1.4/5

LiveScore Bet has a Trustpilot rating of 1.4. Compared to other big-name bookmakers like Coral and Bet365, it sits in the same bracket, so that score doesn't concern us too much.

💰 Has LiveScore Bet Been Fined?

In 2025, two ads that appeared in the LiveScore Bet app breached UK advertising standards. Some damage was done to the LiveScore Bet reputation, but no fine was issued by the UKGC or other regulatory bodies.

LiveScore Bet Deposits

First and foremost, in our review, we came across plenty of messages for new Irish customers on the website regarding verification. You'll need to verify your account and go through what's known as the KYC (Know Your Customer) process before you can make a transaction and bet.

Livescore KYC checks

There are three key payment methods at LiveScore Bet following verification, which are all popular with Irish players. This is not a great deal of banking options relative to the operator's competitors, but all are very swift at least.

PayPal and Revolut Pay as well as debit cards are accepted, which are all handy options to have available on our side. The minimum deposit via debit card and Revolut is €5, but you'll need to deposit €30 minimum if you choose PayPal.

The maximum daily deposit came in at a very high €20k. We deposited €10 in our review, enough to trigger a welcome bonus.

LiveScore Bet Withdrawals

Withdrawals at LivescoreBet are available via whatever payment method you choose for your initial deposit. We picked Visa debit but also had the option of other debit cards like Mastercard, as well as the PayPal e-wallet and Revolut.

This is not a whole lot of options, but they are definitely amongst the most popular for Irish players.

In the withdrawal section of the cashier, there's a note on 'net deposits'. In other words, we have to withdraw at least the amount we deposited (in total) back to the same payment option before we can switch.

Upon confirmation, it also says withdrawals by debit card usually take less than three hours in off-peak times but can take up to three days if requested during busy or holiday periods.

In our test, after having some fortune with a bet, we made a withdrawal request for €49. The funds didn't land in our account for 35 hours. The minimum withdrawal at LiveScore Bet is €5.

LiveScore Bet Sportsbook Review

LiveScore Bet is one of the new kids on the block in terms of European sportsbooks, and in truth, I found the interface a bit cluttered. The overall aesthetics of the website leave a lot to be desired, in my opinion.

Despite having around 40 sports to bet on - a prerequisite with Kambi powering the platform and the markets - the navigation menus were a bit disorganised and it took some time to find what we were looking for in our review.

⚽ Football Offering

Our first impression of the football platform on LiveScore Bet was that it isn't very intuitive. It's quite hard to find the leagues you're looking for despite a 'sort by competitions' tab.

The spread of competitions to wager on is wide though, with all big leagues covered. You can bet on football matches from the Aussie Leagues to the Argentinian Cup.

Most of the main football markets are available for Bet Builder. There's an 'easy pick' Bet Builder tool, and 50% Bet Builder boosts on featured matches. The 'Sub Payout' feature can also be used for markets like assists, shots, cards and goalscorers, which is excellent.

LiveScoreBet Football

I was initially confused, thinking the biggest disappointment about the football product at LiveScore Bet, especially with Kambi providing the odds, is the betting margins.

It seemed the win-draw-win market on the big matches and Premier League games had betting margins as high as 13% (or so I thought) which is very poor, relatively speaking.

I finally found that these odds were associated with an early payout offer and differed from the outright full-time result odds, which came to a much fairer 7.7%. I felt it was all very ambiguous.

Typically bookies won't charge any commission for early payout (2-up) offers.

Cash out, Sub Payout and VAR payout 'specials' promos might ease the pain of these larger margins somewhat.

🏇 Horse Racing Offering

The horse racing product is a lot tidier with tabs for 'All Countries' or the 'UK and Ireland' right at the top, with a neatly laid out menu of meetings. You can also scroll by time of race.

Besides all the big venues in the UK and Ireland, races are covered in France, South Africa, the U.S and Australia.

LiveScoreBet Racing

Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) and extra place specials are offered on selected races.

Markets range from 'pick your places' to betting without the favourites, but that said, in some lesser races the choice of markets to bet is quite sparse.

There is a healthy menu of antepost horse racing markets at LiveScore Bet. We also enjoyed the live streaming service in our review, having placed a free bet from a deposit bonus on a horse race.

🎾 The rest

The in-play product at LiveScore Bet seems strong, with 127 games active when our team reviewed the site. Football, tennis and snooker took up most of the in-running action.

There are around 40 sports or products to bet on. This includes Virtual Sports and e-sports. We can bet on anything from wrestling to Irish sports like Gaelic football and US sports like the NBA and American Football.

Another feature of LiveScore Bet is its betting tips section, where you can pick up some advice on the blog ahead of scheduled sporting events.

LiveScore Bet Casino Review

To get to the Casino at LiveScore Bet, you have to click on the 'Vegas' tab in the main menu, which is a little confusing.

In the casino itself, there's a main menu populated with everything from Megaways and jackpot slots to table games like roulette and blackjack.

LiveScore Bet Casino

There's a carousel of casino offers at the top of the page and a search function where we can only search by game title (not provider, which is a shame).

There's also a Live Casino and Lotto. In the Live Casino, you can filter by provider and play anything from Live Baccarat to Game shows like the popular Money Time.

LiveScore Bet Mobile App

The LiveScore Bet mobile app offers expert insights, an up-to-date stats service and lots of exclusive offers. Not to mention live streaming of UK and Irish racing.

You can download the app straight from the desktop website via a QR code or go directly to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

The iOS app takes up a fair amount of data on your mobile device at nearly 200MB in size. It's highly rated with 4.7 stars out of a possible five stars, with around 800 reviews.

On Android, you can play predictor games and bet while watching live sports in HD. The Android mobile app rates 4.3/5 with over 3k ratings. It also has over 500k downloads.

LiveScore Bet Responsible Gambling

LiveScore are big on responsible gambling practices, from email correspondence to reality checks.

At default settings, LiveScore Bet shows how long you were logged in for on your last session and has a link to responsible gambling tools upon your latest sign-in.

There's also a link on the deposit page where we can set deposit limits straight away without having to go looking for the tools.

The 'Responsible Gambling' page takes you to a section with hints and tips on responsible gaming practices and controlling gambling activity. There's a link to a reality check tool.

There's also a 'safer gambling' link in the footer of the website that brings you directly to the tools required to make betting a more fun experience if required:

  • Deposit Limits
  • Reality check (set reminders)
  • Cool-off
  • Self-exclusion
  • Account closure

Links to resources like Gambling Therapy are in full view in the footer of the main page.

LiveScore Bet Customer Support

I wasn't too impressed with the customer support staff during our testing. They were not very helpful throughout the verification process.

Support refused various documents and then apparently just copied and pasted the same correspondence to me, and sent it via email under a different alias.

We had to ask in the chat box itself if live support was available 24/7 and a chatbot said there's no mention of support being around the clock. We also asked the chat for the general support email address, which was [email protected].

We had emails from different departments (different email addresses) such as payments and ID during verification.

There's no general support phone number either at LiveScore Bet but compliance can be reached at +353 91355177.

You can find the live chat through the 'contact us' links at the bottom of the website and in various menu bars throughout the site. At least there is a comprehensive help and FAQ section available.
