We were impressed with most aspects of Ladbrokes in our review but we expected nothing less.
The sports and market depth were solid, as is the game selection over on the casino platform. The football and horse racing products are especially appealing along with the greyhound product.
In terms of banking options, there's room for improvement. There are only three deposit options initially available to Irish players. In saying that, one of those options is via debit card and we are pleased to say in our withdrawal test, this method proved immediate.
Specials and promos are spread widely but mainly focused on the popular sports like football and racing, although we could find boosts and Bet Builders on most other sports too.
The app rates one of the best from our reviews, while responsible gambling tools are more prominent at Ladbrokes compared to competitors.
Our customer support experience was mixed, but there is a phone number available if needs must.
A nice little nugget is that the phone-a-bet service is still going.

In November 2016, Ladbrokes merged with its sister site Coral to create the Ladbrokes Coral Group. In early 2018, both sites were taken over by Entain, which also owns a 50% stake in BetMGM.

Ladbrokes Deposits
Anyone signing up at Ladbrokes will likely be satisfied with the deposit options shown in the cashier, or at least we were. Apart from depositing in store, we could use a debit card like Visa or Mastercard, PayPal, or a Paysafe card.
Lacking options like bank transfer, Revolut and Skrill is not ideal for Irish punters, but the most important option for most Irish players is the debit card option. Having a popular e-wallet payment solution like PayPal as an aside is definitely a bonus too.

Ladbrokes Sportsbook Review
For Irish punters, Ladbrokes is one of the biggest sports betting brands out there. It is synonymous with big sporting events, teams and occasions. Worldwide, it is under the Entain umbrella.
In our review, we expected a wide spread of sports and markets to bet on and in all we counted 28, led by football, racing and greyhounds.
⚽ Football Offering
With 'Featured bet builders' and 'Popular player' markets populating the football homepage, we knew the Ladbrokes footy product would be good. As expected, all the big European leagues and competitions are covered in depth.
The market depth for the midweek Champions League games is huge, with over 200 markets to bet on per game.
Premier League games typically have over 230 markets to bet on, with more than 20 to be used for Bet Builder purposes. Price boosts, Bet Builder super boosts and early payout offers are on the menu alongside 'popular accas'.
Premier League match betting margins come in at 6%, which is better than at most books.
🏇 Horse Racing Offering
Horse racing is extremely popular at Ladbrokes, so much so that it is spread into two different categories: racing and distance racing. Specials include big daily boosts and Bet Builders with a twist. There is also a large mix of virtual horse races.
The main horse racing menu is set into five tabs:

In our review, we were happy with the spread of sports and betting markets at Ladbrokes. We felt there was a nice diverse mix from obscure sports like beach volleyball and cycling to eSports and a large portfolio of virtual sports.
American and Irish sports are also prominent on the menu. Politics, TV and Specials are also available to bet at Ladbrokes.
Ladbrokes Casino Review
The first thing we noticed about the Ladbrokes casino is all the most popular slot titles in the main lobby. This includes games like Big Bass Splash from Pragmatic Play.
There is a full Live Casino suite at Ladbrokes and Game Shows aplenty like Crazy Time. We also had Arcade games, poker and bingo in the main menu.
Overall, Ladbrokes Casino provides over 1,800 slots, including some big jackpot and progressive jackpot slot games, and over 2,000 games in total.
The navigation also does the trick with several categories and a search function, which allows you to search for specific games or providers.
