Paddy Power is home to the odds boosts and specials for Irish punters. It offers Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) and extra place specials with daily extra-place races on UK and Irish racing. This sits alongside a myriad of offers like Sub Payout on football. Promotions are rife throughout all the popular sports.
Being one of the top bookies around, we were expecting a good, solid offering. We were happy with what can be described as a 'decent showing of payment methods' in the cashier area. More importantly, both deposits and withdrawals by Visa debit proved instant.
Paddy Power offers a super-wide depth of markets across all sports with hundreds of football and horse racing markets, alongside a variety of promos. Twenty-plus markets can be used for the Paddy Power football Bet Builder. Betting margins on Premier League games fall at around 7%.
Paddy Power Games also has plenty of value added for the everyday punter. Paddy's Wonder Wheel and the Eliminator are free-to-play games with real prizes, while Paddy's Rewards Club dishes out ongoing loyalty bonuses. There is also a 10% cash back on tennis losses promotion.
We felt the browsing experience could be a little better for arguably the biggest bookie in the world, but with so much going on, we can forgive Paddy on this occasion!

Paddy Power was originally founded in 1988 when three bookmakers named Stewart Kenny, David Power, and John Corcoran merged their 40 betting shops.
It went online in 2000 with the birth of paddypower.com and launched one of the first mobile betting apps on the App Store in 2010.

Paddy Power was recently fined £2m by the UKGC for failing to step in quickly enough when customers appeared to be problem gambling. It was also fined £490k in 2023 for accidentally sending promotional push notifications to devices.
Paddy Power Deposits

The navigation of the site is decent, but during our testing, we didn't expect it to be seamless with so much on-show. Finding a list of sports to bet on in the app took a little more time than it should.
